DRAWINGS

The drawn line can bring back the reality of a past experience or it can reflect thought processes and initiate journeys into unknown territories where ideas are tested, sometimes vanishing sometimes adhering.

The drawn line can be expressed physically by either flowing gently or acting jaggedly in response to observed rhythms and forms. The act of drawing can be understood as a journey that starts from the eye then passes through the mind and then continues down the arm to the tip of the pencil.

These drawings display a wide range of techniques and are all on paper.  They have been selected to cover a period of fifty years.
